How long have you been in business?

Grace Construction founder, John Hanvy, has been in business in the New Orleans area for over two decades. Grace Construction was founded in 2020 with the background and experience of John and his team combined to complete professional high-quality projects.

Do you have a license?

Our company maintains a license to do business in the State of Louisiana.

Do you have insurance?

We carry insurance and can produce copies at your request.

Will you obtain permits and set up inspections?

Yes, Grace Construction will identify the need for any permits or inspections and handle them for your.

What is the timeline for most projects?

Most bathrooms take round 2-4 weeks for a small bathroom. An exact timeline will be established when we go over the contract.

How are payments scheduled?

We start with a design fee ($400-$1,500) in the beginning that comes off the final invoice. Once the design is approved a deposit is required to “get on the schedule”. Depending on the size of the project a fee schedule is established and approved by the homeowner in the beginning. There are no surprises.

Who is my designated point of contact?

From the first person you talk to until the final walkthrough the same point of contact will be there to answer any questions you may have.

Do I need to remove any items that are in or near work areas?

Yes. We ask the homeowner to remove any items that can be damaged during construction. We always use duct control plastic and protect floors but sometimes accidents happen. Often our homeowners will get a “pod” for their belongings. Something we would be happy to assist with.

What will the noise level be like?

Some days are more noisy than others. We can work with you if there are certain times/days that are problematic for you.

How will you clean up at the end of the day?

We vacuum up after ourselves every day and leave materials in a designated spot that is established in the beginning of the job. Even with our dust control measures a small amount of dust is to be expected. If you have special instruction, please let is know and we are happy to accommodate you.
